Crimson Rosellas are probably my favorite parrots around here.
Galahs are more common but they look like they're wearing a silly hat.
Eastern Rosellas are also striking to the eye, but the bright red of the crimson rosellas is something else entirely. I've delayed and procrastinated and waited to put these photos on the blog... please enjoy.

Is it gah-LAH or GAH-lah?
ReplyDeleteAccording to Australia: The East by Les Beletsky, it is pronounced "ga-LAH"
