More rain last week meant means wet paddocks and overflowing creeks. Friday night we had a big storm with rain and wind (with many trees down around town), Saturday morning we happened to be down by Dumaresq Creek:
| Faulkner Street under water, under the pedestrian bridge. |
It has been a wet spring: dam levels are up, the grass is turning green, and the waterfalls are overflowing. Hopefully we'll have a couple of dry days for this weekend that we can get some gardening done! We have plans to rototill the garden.
| By Sunday the creek levels had returned to normal high. |
| The willows are also budding out in spring green. |
