Australian Ibises, high in the sky, up, up and away.

The other day I was taking laundry outside to dry when I happened to glance upwards-- which had me tossing the laundry basket down and running inside to get the camera and switch the lens. A flock of Australian ibises was circling lazily in the sky, flying higher, higher, higher ... until they disappeared from view.

It's a shame, in my haste I didn't notice the camera was set to a particular preset -- so the photos are all tinged a particular (unnatural) way. It's kind of retro sepia and with the clouds, pretty dramatic.
