Just a bit of miscellany.  Due to internet connectivity issues (and heaps of work-related business) any posts from last week were delayed.  I give you:

1. A fledgeling wattlebird!

This little guy sat outside the window while I ate breakfast, crying for someone to pick him up and/or feed him.  (He tried to find some nectar in last year's dried flowers of that shrub, to no avail.)  Eventually his parent must have come by and he flew away.

2. It's duckling season!

(Unfortunately, the only time I remembered to bring the camera I only saw the one.  The other pair that had six or seven ducklings must have gone to a different playing field.  They were pretty cute.)

3. Twilight clouds!  (Just because I'm into that.)

4. Another duck at the pond.

5.  Some trees...

6. An RBS (really big spider).  (Small because I don't like looking at it, so feel free to enlarge if you're braver than I.)  Hand for general idea of scale.

7. I also saw my first snake.  ...no picture of that one though.
