Autumn Colours Around Armidale

View over Armidale from the South Hill in early autumn, April 2015.
Early fall colors
The changing color of sycamore trees in late April
Golden poplars in late April
Fall colors line the streets in late April
The tree by our front door was brightest in May.  An article in the local gazette
informed us that this tree (previously unidentified) is a Chinese pistachio.
The Chinese pistachio trees are quite common in Armidale and line
many of the streets.
The tree was yellow, golden, orange and red until last weekend, when a
few windy days blew all the leaves away.
Changing colors of a sweetgum, an otherwise dreary day in mid-May
The sweetgum are some of the last trees here to still have their leaves.  The
sycamore, poplars, and Chinese pistachio have lost most of theirs by now.
