| Heffrons Lookout on the Gwydir Highway |
There are a couple different routes to drive from Armidale to Grafton. The last time we went this way we went east on Waterfall Way and took the very winding road north, so this time we decided to go north first to Glen Innes and then drive east on the Gwydir Highway. We didn't make any stops on the drive there, but on the drive back we made sure to see several scenic overlooks. The highway goes through the Gibraltar Range National Park, which we will definitely have to return to someday for camping and bushwalking!
