About a month ago I went out
for a morning walk without any intention of taking these photos... but was
distracted, as usual, by one of my favorite photographic subjects. Just in an hour I saw so many different
birds: magpies, wood ducks, currawongs, galahs, wattlebirds, a cuckoo shrike,
eastern rosellas, a darter, honeyeaters, kookaburras, crimson rosellas,
European starlings, fairy wrens, magpie larks, crows, crested pigeons and
more. It's fun to be able to recognize
and name the different birds we see around here.
